Our Location

Queensferry is a small town situated in North East Wales, UK, we are 2 miles from the Wales / England border, and 5 miles from the historic city of Chester.

The Community Council's area  covers three wards Queensferry, Pentre and Sandycroft, each ward has it's own Council representatives. You can find your Councillor by clicking the navigation button on the left.

Our local authority is Flintshire County Council

Councillor David Wisinger is our one and only representative on Flintshire County Council

Community Councils bordering ours are:-

  • Sealand Community Council
  • Hawarden Community Council
  • Saltney Town Council
  • Shotton Town Council   


 

Meetings

Council meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month, except August, and are held in the Committee Room of the Sandycroft Community Centre, Phoenix Street, Sandycroft.

Members of the public are welcome to attend all meetings of the Council

 


 

Community Beat Officers

The Community Beat Officer for Sandycroft and Pentre is PC Sarah-Jayne Jones while PC Sue Carrington looks after Queensferry, either one attends our Council meetings, to discuss the Consultative Arrangements
